I joined Cyclops in 2001 having previously worked as a wine broker, newsagents manager and a cable TV salesman.
I made the decision to move from Northampton to York to move in with my girlfriend and in 2007 she became my wife.
We have a great team at Cyclops and I love working in this industry as every day is different and you never know what the next call is going to bring.
I have always been a competitive person both inside and outside of work and I love the challenge of targets and finding components that others can't.
I play a lot of sport and I go to the gym most lunchtimes to play squash, badminton or workout. I am also a keen swimmer and runner.
In 2009, I ran the London marathon for a charity set up by my brother-in-law (http://www.gfbonecancer.org.uk). Running the marathon is probably one of the hardest things that I have ever done but certainly the most rewarding.
At weekends I play rugby for York RUFC and Sundays are generally my day of rest and I like to watch football or go to the cinema.
I still have an interest in wine and I enjoy socialising with friends at nice restaurants, or going to concerts and comedy nights.
I love travelling and visiting new places for long weekends or popping in for a day whilst on a cruise. My favourite holiday has to be skiing, I love being active and the après ski is always good fun!
